Welcome to VancityComics 3.0
I would like to welcome back all of our returning members to VancityComics 3.0 and also welcome all of our new ones. 2007 has so far been a quiet year for us, but we hope that we can turn that around for the later half of the year. Expect to see some of us around at your local shop, dropping off some flyers to promote VCC. Hopefully we can also recruit new members to help better our community.
Together we can make Vancouver an even greater place for comics.

Welcome to the new forums. A sleeker look and an easier way to navigate around the site. Danger and I will be working on the street team package to get out as quickly as possible.
We hope you'll all spread the word and get this board going. Let's make the rest of the year a good one.

Respect that.
What does this "street team" mean specifically? I assume you guys plan to tackle all the major comic/gaming shops in the Lower Mainland?
You guys should buy a cheap ass car, paint it up with some VanCity Comics designs, and drive around town handing out comics and Red Bull. At least that's what I would do.

That's cool.... do you want to be on the street team? lol. We'll probably just be going around town plastering/stapling/taping up vancitycomics fliers around town. More than likely they'll be at post-secondary schools, and at some of our local shops.
