Michael Turner has unfortunately passed away

A big blow has been dealt to the comics industry this passed weekend. For those of you who aren't aware, WWchicago was this past weekend, and it just wasn't the same when the announcement was made. Michael Turner was a very popular artist and will be surely missed. I was fortunate enough to meet with him on 2 separate occasions, once in San Diego '98 and another in Toronto '05. Both times that I had the chance to shake hands with him, he was a kind and generous person, even squeeking out a quick Supergirl sketch the 2nd time around when he was busy as heck and had very little spare time. Godspeed Mr. Turner.
