Today I noticed VPL has two copied of "FINDER : SIN-EATER [GRAPHIC]"
and their status is "Newly Acquired".

The catalog has 2001 for the book,
but I'm assuming that is a typo and the books they have are the hardcover version of Finder - Sin Eater.

A big thank you to everyone who have sent comic book purchase suggestions to the VPL.

Just noticed that VPL has
* four copies of "SUPREME POWER: NIGHTHAWK [GRAPHIC]" on order
* two copies of "SUPREME POWER : HYPERION [GRAPHIC]" on order
* two copies of "SUPREME POWER [GRAPHIC]" are "Newly Acquired"

According to Outlook Online, VPL seems to be the only BC library with Supreme Power collections, so I decide to start asking them to complete their collection of the Supreme Power TPBs.

A month ago, I suggest that VPL order

Title : How NOT To Draw Manga

..

They now have 5 (FIVE) copies on order.

The original printing of How Not To Draw Manga is out of print,
so VPL orders of that printing are unlikely to be fulfilled (those five copies have been on order for more than a year now)

Antarctic Press has a new printing in slightly different format,
so
* :

Title * : How Not To Draw Manga (pocket manga edition)
Author * : John Kantz, Chris Reid, Sherard Jackson & Kilpatrick
Format : Book
Publisher : Antarctic Press
Publication date: 2007
ISBN: 978-0977642496
Intended audience: Teen
How did you hear about this title? : various places
Why should this title be in the library ? * : Reviews say it is a funny book. VPL has the 2004 edition on order, BUT that edition is out of print. The 2007 edition is still available (example: available from amazon.com) and has a different ISBN.

"Thank you. Your suggestion has been received,"

I was about to ask VPL to get the latest Ex Machina collection (Vol 7: EX Cathedra that was released a week ago), when I noticed they have two copies on order.
