Rules and Guidelines

By becoming a member of the VanCityComics forums, you agree to the rules and guidelines set up by the administrators. Any breaking of these set guidelines and rules can result in suspension and banishment. We try to be as lenient as possible in most situations and each will be handled personally and reviewed by all moderators and administrators of the board. Regardless of a persons seniority on the board, they fall under the same set of rules.

Opinions expressed within the forum are that of the individual who voiced them. They do not necessarily reflect upon those who own or operate the forum. So dont get mad at us.

Rules:

1) Posting graphic pornographic material is prohibited. Any comic book or personal artwork that shows private parts of a character, must be headed with a warning. Any child pornography will result in a permanent IP ban and a report to the persons ISP. Subsequently, posting gross and indecent images will also result in a permanent banishment.

2) Flaming and other forms of harassment towards other members of the board as well as members of the comic book community will not be tolerated. Any feuds and/or discrepancies should be done in private.

3) We will not allow any posts that deal with links that delve into computer piracy. Any member who posts links will have their message deleted and will receive a warning. Only one warning will be given. The actual discussion should be dealt with in private messages. As long as links and/or asking for illegal downloads is kept out of the posts no action will be taken.

4) Racist and sexist comments will not be tolerated and will result in automatic suspension. The moderating and administrating team will review the situation and deem if further action is necessary.

As long as well all follow these rules, we should be able to build up our community. Please remember that we have younger people on this forum and that some board members may not appreciate certain behavior.

Edited rule #2 to also include members of the comic book community not present on our boards. Remember, we're a community looking to promote the community itself, we don't want to bring it down.
