If they aren't thought of utter amazement and awe, you were obviously watching a different movie.
*SPOILER FREE*
What a fantastic movie. See it in IMAX people, it was made for a screen that size. I have not been that tensed-up and into a movie since the first Matrix. Absolutely intense action, fantastic story, a couple sweet little set-ups for the next one, and great performances across the board.
But let's get down to the meat, shall we?
Heath Ledger nailed it. On the freaking head. Down to ever little nuance. It was brilliant because unlike so many actor today, I wasn't watching Heath Ledger as the Joker. I was watching the Joker. It wasn't until the credits rolled that I realized that was his last real performance. And what a performance it was. I have no idea how they're going to top that one. There's this moment. One of the first real 'things' Joker does. It sets his character for the entire movie. This is not someone who's messing around.
Just stellar. 11/10. I'm not going to be surprised at all if it makes more on it's opening weekend than Iron Man and the Hulk combined. _________________

this movie should defiantly win best picture, seriously, it was a good story and nolan should win best director, if lord of the rings can win an oscar, why can't dark knight. I do disagree about your rating of 11/10, it should be 20 out of 10
